9. Emily Eliza HARRIS [10764] (Richard Brown⁶, David², David¹) was born 03 Mar 1862 in Allhabad Uttar Pradesh India, died 21 May 1930 in Wellington Wellington New Zealand at age 68, and was buried in Karori Cemetery Wellington New Zealand.

General Notes:Born in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.

Married at age 21 to Emily Eliza Harris in 1890 in Wellington, NZ, and had 5 children between 1891 - 1903.

At the time of his daughter, Alice Emily's, marriage in 1922, the family were living in Wadestown, Wellington.

James was a Mason - member of Lodge St. Andrew No. 32.

Died 9 March 1931 aged 64 in Thorndon Hospital, Wellington, and buried in Karori Cemetery. The death notice states "of Golden Gate, Paremata, late Manawatu and NZ Railways (Gisborne)."

The funeral was held on 11 March at the Mortuary Chapel, Taranaki St, Wellington, then to Karori Cemetery. "James, beloved husband of E E DAVIDSON, who d. 9 March 1931 ag. 64 years. Re-united." (09/B/17/031)
