Robert was born on 18 Jan 1918 in Invercargill Southland New Zealand and died in 2006 at age 88. The cause of his death was Drowning.

Donald married Helen Myra TAYLOR [268] [MRIN: 197], daughter of David TAYLOR [56594] and Edna Marguerite WHITCOMBE [56595], on 12 Jul 1954 in New Zealand. Helen was born on 02 Sep 1926 in Christchurch Canterbury New Zealand and died on 24 Jan 2007 in Timaru Canterbury New Zealand at age 80. Another name for Helen was Hahn.

"BISHOP, Helen Myra (Hahn): Peacefully on January 24, 2007, at Timaru Hospital, dearly loved wife of John, loved mother and mother-in-law of Vicki and Mike Toye (Christchurch), Jan and Graham Jeffery (Waimate), David and Chrissy (New Plymouth, and Joan and Colin Tisdall; much loved nana of Caitlin, Alex & Hugo Toye; Libby and Emily Jeffery; Jonathon, Sarah and Rebekah. Grateful thanks to the nursing staff, Medical Ward, Timaru Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated, and may be left at the service. Helen was cremated - ashes to be placed at lake in Centennial Park, Timaru.
