November 1975 left for Taihape. Attended Taihape Primary & College

Joined the Army, commencing October 1990, in Waiouru to gain electronics apprenticeship.
Completed his Electronics & Radar Technician apprenticeship and gained his Advanced Trade Certificate. Became a Lance Corporal.

Had a Cortina, then Mitsubishi GTO in 1992. Also had a motorbike.

In 1995 he was diagnosed as having a vertebra problem, so no P.E. for a spell.
Transferred to Linton, then on sick leave while the army decided his future.
He eventually left the Army, but immediately started work at Burnham Camp for the Army as a civilian. Eventually he came back to Trentham Camp, again as a civilian.

1996 - Working as a Security Technician for ASSEC in Porirua, Wellington; and flatting in Mt Victoria. Travelled to Auckland & Sydney for the firm. Had flatted in Maungaraki, Lower Hutt, and had a cat called Bob. Owned a VW Baja.

Went to Sydney, Australia in January 1999. Sandy followed after a month or 2.

Andy came back to NZ for Poppa Robertson's funeral in August 1999.

Working for T.A.S.C., a small branch in Sydney, working on control systems and alarms. He found the job very stressful leading up to the millenium (1/1/2000).

Married Sandra Gaye PITTAMS on 6 April 2002 at 'Te Kowhai' Heritage Home, 183 Queen St, Levin. The wedding was at 3 pm, inside as wet, then photos outside as weather cleared, then in the gardens themselves.

Sandy's dress was cream with a little train, beaded bodice and off one shoulder. Her hair was up with pearls throughout.

Best man - Tony Wheeler; Bridesmaid - Shona Lee Taylor in bronze long frock (Sandy's best friend); M.C. - Dean Robinson.
